What are the classifications?
Movie - any film/movie screenings
Concert - any live musical performances
Play - any live play/theater performances
A&C (Activity and Crafts) - this includes exercise classes, crafts, games (including sports).
Misc - everything else (comedy, special events, etc.)
Why Free Fun Los Angeles?
The purpose of this website is to provide as complete a list
as possible of fun Free Events in and around Los Angeles. Events include movie screenings, concerts,
plays, arts & crafts activities, etc., with something for everyone.
I try to exclude any events which require “minimum
purchases” such as many “free” comedy shows.
Of course, this being Los Angeles,
many of the venues won’t have free parking available so I can’t justify
excluding those without free parking nearby.
Please let me know if you find an event which required a fee or purchase
for participation.
Also, I want this to be a source for finding FUN events so
I’ve excluded self-help, and lecture-style events. Maybe you find those types of events fun (no
judgment here!), but so many of those are scams and I don’t want anyone to get
scammed.
I always include a link to the event or venue website for
you to obtain more information, and RSVP (if necessary) for the events you are
interested in.
